NYC Metrocard 5

Happy New Years to all of you out there!
Whats in store for the New Years you ask?

Say hello to MTA raised fair prices. The 30-day unlimited card cost has been bumped up from $89 to $104.
I have not seen any service improvements in the subway system but rather cause more inconvenience to me. Taking the train on weekends is a nightmare because nothing runs properly.

Other than that, I'm currently taking my very first graphic design class. I'm having a lot of fun and I hope to continue designing with my boyfriend. He's helped me understand a lot about design. I'm glad I'm able to catch up with everyone in the class because this is a pretty advanced course. My friend has also been helping me with some adobe programs.
Hopefully soon enough I can gain enough skills to build my very own blog to share with you.

NYC Metrocard 4

Because I love the cute Target dog (Spot) so much, I decided to have him on my metrocard this month.

I tried the best I can to draw him. Maybe you can draw him much better than me.
It was hard for me because I had such little space to draw.

NYC Metrocard 3

This month I decided to draw a little birdy. The bird reminds me of twitter haha!
So I decided to draw a bird on my Metrocard so I can remind myself to work hard in school and I'll have plenty of free time after I'm done.

After weeks of stress and hard work, I finally have a free weekend to rest once again. No more midterms to worry about but now I must study hard and be ready for the finals.

NYC Metrocard 2

Its been a month already!! Time for a new monthly Metrocard, which means I'm $89 poorer. Curse you MTA for making my travel so expensive!!

This time I drew another Minion because they're just too cute! :) I drew the tall guy, anyone know his name? It was so hard to catch their names in the movie.
I drew the Minion really dark on my Metrocard and then I placed the receipt over it to stamp it on. I'm just lazy to re-draw it again.

I can't wait until the Despicable Me DVD comes out so I can watch it over and over again with my boyfriend. We absolutely LOVE the movie!!

Any suggestions as to what I should draw for next month's card?

NYC Metrocard 1

I need to get a Metrocard every month and I draw something new on it everytime. This time I decided to draw a Minion from "Despicable Me" because I love them so much!! They are super cute. I'm still waiting to watch the movie!! :(

I draw the picture on the card with a pencil and then I rub it onto the receipt so I know they are together. I must remind you guys that you should keep the receipt for your Metrocard always because you'll never know if something goes wrong. I had to send my messed up card back to the MTA because the bus's machine screwed up the magnet on the card.
