Next semester will be my very last semester of college before graduating. These four years has been moving way too fast for me. I've learned so much and yet I feel underachieved. I can't help but to feel fearful about what is yet to come. There are so many possibilities out there in the world still and I foresee many paths ahead of me.
Once the month of February hit, I had a major reality check for myself. There's a lot going on this month and I feel a new bright beginning for myself. Amongst the many things, I realized I've been held back to achieve my personal goals mainly because of my parents. I haven't been able to push myself out of pleasing them.
My boyfriend has helped me take a huge step back and reexamine myself as an individual and how my parents have shaped me to be who I am today. For that I can't thank him enough for being there by my side through thick and thin these past three years. I need to move on beyond pleasing my parents and just do what's right for myself. I need to get on my two feet and get things going because life moves on with or without my parents expectations of me.
Creating my new Etsy store was just the beginning. I have to figure out my next move career wise as soon as possible. I realized how much I enjoyed designing this year. As you know I took my very first Web Design course during the winter semester and now I'm taking a Flash and 2D Animation course as well. As challenging as these classes are for me, I'm very excited to learn the art of design. In addition I will be working my profile website after I learn more familiar with designing am excited to launch hopefully this year.
I promise myself to work extra hard this year because underachievement is unacceptable in my book!

QWOP-The hardest game ever
According to this video, QWOP is the hardest game ever! I agree with him. This guy has funny commentary along with this game.
So I decided to try it out myself. I used the technique from the video up there to use only Q and W. I managed to get through 100 meters but I moved 0.1 the entire way. Sometimes I got lucky and got to move 0.2 here and there but, I didn't want to kill the poor guy.
Apparently at 50.0 meters, you get an obstacle. I dragged the thing the entire way, I'm sure I hurt him the entire way considering where that thing is pointing haha.

Here is when I'm almost at the finish line.

Here is when it gets funny. A sign comes up telling me to "jump," but I am not about to kill the poor guy dragging the obstacle on his leg so I take a risk...

Ignoring that "jump" sign, I continue to use my technique and inch forward.

So now I'm the "National Hero" because I win the race haha.
I guess being steady, slow, and full of perseverance goes a long way!

This game is hard I have to say.
I felt like I wasted my time, but I wanted to reach 100 meters so I could share it with you.
Apparently there will be an iPhone app soon.
I assure you I won't be getting this game because it's such a waste of time!
Try playing this game and see for yourself.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this game.

Stop your flipping leg shaking!
See how comfortable those Corgis are? You wouldn't want to wake them now, would you?
The other day I was sitting on a really long bench enjoying my food with my boyfriend. Two boys sit down on the bench and one of them starts shaking their flipping leg! For those of you out there who enjoy doing this please stop! It's rather annoying to others sitting on the bench. Even if you're not sitting on a bench your neighbors can still feel the vibration through the floor. All I want is to sit, relax, and enjoy my food.
My mom told me when I was young that I shouldn't shake my legs because my fortune will be shaken away from me. I'm not a superstitious person but if you are then by all means please stop your flipping leg shaking! I'm glad she taught me to not shake my legs because I know how distracting it is to others.
Have any of you experienced this?
